I see these are built on the A4 upper. What's the difference between the A4 and the M4?

Yeah, anyone? It says it's a Daniel Defense factory upper. I don't think they sell two different upper receivers.

The actual upper receivers are the same, but the front sight posts are different. Maybe they are designated different because the difference in fsb or maybe its just two different vendors using different lingo. The aim surplus uppers have a mil-spec fsb with the longer fsb lite rail, and westernsport uppers have the newer daniel defense fsb (no bayonet lug, black salt bath nitride finish, and serrated back) and a shorter lite rail that does not come past the fsb. Ironically, the only one of the 4 uppers that could theoretically take a bayonet (the midlength westernsport upper) has no bayonet lug.

You could be into a DD upper/PSA lower AR for less than $800. Pretty great deal!
