Do carbon arrows have a " life span"?

I haven't shot my bow in about two years, and my arrows are about 10 years old. Do carbon arrows start breaking down over time? They are in a case inside so they have not been left out in the sun, rain, etc. Just wondering if it was a good idea to swap them out after awhile, or does it even matter?

Just flex them if you don't hear any crackle sounds "chootem"

They should be fine. I'm shooting the same arrows from about that far back.
