Don't Mess with the Range Officer!!!

Mostly just trying to loosen her up, was out about 10 yards I'd say. Shot Remington UMC 230gr this first time and tested a few rounds of Winchester PDX-1, Hornady Critical Defense and a few Golden Sabers. Next time I go, I'll see what I can do in groups and at what range. Still very tight and the barrel bushing requires a bushing wrench to turn it. Hope that gets better as it breaks in. Less than 100 rounds so far.

Actually, messing with the "her" is very cool.

Traded into a new Springfield Range Officer and quite impressed so far...:thumb:

Got one, love it, it also doubles as my 460 Rowland platform and it takes the abuse very well.

Not bad, if it is to the tightness of my TRP it should be capable of nearly a one inch or one and half inch group at ten or twelve meters, with good ammo. I am sad to admit that for range work I get tighter groups out of Wolf then Remington or Winchester, CCI sucks for accuracy though.

As far as need for a bushing wrench, my TRP never needed it, could easily take down with my bare hands, but then the TRP isn't a target gun really.
