Draco Mini thoughts?

What are your opinions on this little pistol? I have owned one before and sold it years ago. I have owned a Draco C, and should not have sold that one. I like the slightly longer barrel and it had the underfolder trunnion as it was one of the early C imports. It had laminated fore end. I like the laminated wood much better than whatever it is they make the current ones out of?

I see the prices have come down and one retailer is running them for $819.00 cash. Does it have a niche? I have my own opinions, but I always like to hear what other's experiences are as well as your opinions.

I had a micro and it was fun to shoot. As accurate as any pistol. It will throw fireballs and looks spectacular at night. I sold it about a year ago. Been liquidating the unnecessary guns to fund new hobbies.

Fireballs are massive, and it's an obnoxiously excellent range toy.

A serious self-defense weapon, nope.

It will be cheaper, mags are plentiful, mounting an optic easier. The con ammo will be more expensive.

I love the mini draco. It absolutely has a niche: AK Rattler.

I've got a PAP pistol and I can't imagine the barrel being any shorter.

Plus, it looks so sexy with the folding brace...

The ammo price and availability is the one benifit I see to any 7.62x39 pistol, but I like the fact that the .300 was developed to work efficiently in 7.5-8” barrels, more so than 7.62x39. But all the other benefits seem to go to the AR platform and I detest 7.62x39 in the AR platform. A square peg made to go in a round hole…

The only other consideration.

7.62x39… have kkk-sands.

.300 Blk… have 0
