It was confirmed today that my sweet boy tore both of his CCLs (dog version of ACL). The only correction for his level of injury is a very invasive and expensive surgery to each leg, one at a time, with 8-12 weeks at least in between. I am heart broken to know that Mack has such a long road of hurting ahead with his size fighting against him. But, we are so glad that there is a finish line in sight and definitive answers. These last few days have been so gut wrenching as he has not been able to get up or move without assistance since Thursday. There’s no feeling as helpless as not being able to help him due to his size. As some of you may know Joseph is still recovering from a surgery of his own that limits what he is able to do to help myself and our boy. With that also being said he has been out of work for quite some time now while he is building the strength to be able to work again. We have created a go fund me account for Mack if you feel led and are able to help support us financially during this time. If you are unable to help financially we desperately need your prayers and thoughts during this time as it is trying for everyone involved. Mack has the goofiest, most gentle, and friendly soul of any dog I have ever had. I want nothing more than to get my boy back to going everywhere and doing everything with me. Please keep us in your thoughts.

My venmo is haileyyconrad for those requesting!

This is my son and his fiancés baby. He’s 190 pounds and sweet! They are getting married in September and this has hit their funds hard. If you love your pets like family like we do, please don’t donate and spread the word

Thank you ODT

my pyrenees tore hers 2 years ago, spent 5000 for the repair twelve weeks of hell for recovery, this year she tore the other one, scheduled the surgery but when we called the day before we found out they forgot to put her on the schedule so we kept her from straining her injury for 4 weeks, doubled her cosequin and started her on meloxicam, 6 months later she still limps occasionally but runs and walks just fine. don't know how bad your dog is but NSAIDs and keep him rather immobile for 4 weeks and scare tissue will develop and although he may not be up to running a marathon it might just buy you some time. good luck sir I would give anything for my dog.

Best of luck all around, but I'd never let a pet destroy my finances. They are pets, not children. I wish all involved the best.
don't know about you but I would rather have my dogs over my kid, gave her a house, cars, money , a wedding then when the gravytrain ended she divorced her husband moved 12 hours away and will not let the grand kids call or write, as far as she is concerned we are dead.
