Well this spike walked in on me at 4:45 yesterday afternoon. He snuck up on me, I never heard him only saw him. He walked about 7 yards away from the base of my tree and stopped so I stood up drew on him and drilled him perfectly in the upper ribs and the arrow came out through the center of the chest cavity. The 3 blade grim reaper I use really did a number on him. All 3 blades opened on entry and knocked a massive hole all the way through him. Once the arrow came out the other side the blood really started flowing. He only ran about 60 yards and dropped dead. I waited about 15-20 minutes before getting down and followed the huge blood trail right to him. Man now I am hooked for real, the bow kill was way more exciting than a rifle kill. Here he is he ended up weighing in at 115 lbs.
