Found it at a LGS....dickered down to good price...THEN discovered the aftermarket barrel.

Oh crap right? Nope. It’s a Shilen, low round count and installed by the AO folks. Think I’m good..

So anybody know about best optic mounting system for this?

I have the 527 in 7.62x39....very accurate carbine. And loves the steelcase.
You can get in .223/.556 as well.

Nice walnut, sweet set trigger and quality barrel. I just hope it shoots as good as it looks!
