I don’t even twist wrenches anymore for a living….i still have more in my tools and box than my house !!
If not more , it is damned close !!

I remember every Friday going out on the tool trucks and making payments and getting a handful of tools …..always stayed in debt !!
But you needed them to make the good money - efficiently !! They are worth it , or used to be !

My best friend was a professional mechanic. Worked at the dealer. He had few Snap On tools. He had a few Mac and a lot of Craftsman

Yep…I had a mix of them all too. Some things were better made than others by different companies. Something’s ya just got a better deal on and it worked fine. Our main thing was to be able to get the work done right and efficiently so you could make the bucks ! Lol

I understand. Book hours. I worked for a builder. So I did a lot of different things. If I had a tool for everything I did, I'd had to drive a tractor trailer. So most of my tools needed to preform multiple task. I always tried to buy the best reasonable tool for the job. Usually Craftsman, but not always. I like a lifetime warranty. I had to have a place open seven days a week and not try to chase down a truck
