Flashaholics Unite!

You will love them if you haven’t gotten them yet. That tac 2.0 is perfect once you get it in the mode you like but it’s odd how to select the mode. From off you gotta half press the tail switch like 20 times for a blip of light and then turn on on the last press. You will see it flash a certain amount of times and that number of times is what mode your in. Turn off and then back on within 3 seconds to go to next mode. Leave off for more than 3 seconds for it to stay on that mode until you restart that process. The ts28 is an incredible all around light/powerhouse.

Of course Amazon had it delivered (2 of them actually) within 12 hours. Stupid bright little flashlights……. How do they get so much light out of 1 battery? I guess the modes will take some learning.

Pretty great huh? lol. I was shocked. Once you do the mode thing a time or two it’s pretty easy. Just got to watch and make sure your half pressing it hard enough to get that blip then full press on last one. The microscopic instructions will tell you what each mode does. I think mode 6(6 flashes) is just turbo only.

I think I have mine on mode 2 which is low/med/high/turbo with the memory function so it will come back on whatever you left it on last.

Question for the 2 of you that still may be watching this thread. What determines how bright a light will get off a certain battery? Is it the amps or the volts? The tac AA 2.0 uses a 14500 battery that is 3.7 volts and I don’t know how many amps but it is significantly brighter with that 3.7 volt lithium ion battery that it comes with than with a standard cheap AA. I just didn’t know which stat on a battery determines the output of the light.
