I made the shelves to be light weight for my wife to use when she goes to the local market to sell her crochet animals. The standing corners fold and the shelves come apart so she can move it. 1x4s, 1x10 and free channeled lumber.
The foldable work bench is for myself. It's made taller and out of 2x4, 3/4 plywood and stained with used motor oil. The legs fold over on top of each other and tuck into the sides so its about 4 inches wide and 4' tall when closed.
