Freedom Mill in Cumming, GA closed for good on 9/23/25

FYI,

They announced a few hours ago that they closed for good yesterday. Not sure if anyone on here had an transfers in process or not. I'm sure they are in contact with those people, but wanted to give a heads up. My wife randomly saw their Facebook post. I don't see it anywhere else online.

That stinks. GoNoGo used to be countryfolks gun store. Then they added an arcade and restaurant. Looks like they got caught up in the growth of the county and taxes ate them up. The county has gotten too big for its britches. Running all the folk that made it what it was out. Chasing the dollar. Sucks

I didn't think it was a good business plan-to have a business that was part brewery, Part gun range, Part Christian bookstore & gift shop, Part farm and feed supply, part bar with ax throwing instead of pub darts... and part children's arcade.

Yup.... the axe throwing was the final straw. Folks can tolerate a lot, but axe throwing? That's dangerous.

I feel for the owners and employees. But that was the most confused business plan I have ever seen. 3 restaraunts ( plus) failed at that location.. The range well I only went once, after I was told the action on my ak needed to have the bolt locked back while not shooting. They always had a great selection of inexpensive guns.

That's fairly standard safety practice; some places also ask for a chamber flag to be used.
