Item Description: I built this boat in 2006. Its an 18' flat-bottomed skiff. Draws about 4" of water fully loaded. Ideal river boat. It is constructed from Honduran Mahogony (frames, decking, gunnels, & trim). Hull is constructed from marine-grade plywood (bottom built with one sheet 3/4" ply and sides with two sheets of 1/4" ply). All fasteners are silicon bronze. Exterior covered with fiberglass cloth and coated with 8 coats of marine epoxy. Finished with three coats of Brightside primer and three coats "Flag Blue" paint. Front casting deck has a large storage locker and separate anchor locker. Two bench seat lift to expose even more storage. Please note that this boat has a displacement hull, not a planing hull and therefore is not meant for high-speed operation.
Originally, it had a center console that has since been removed. New decking will be needed to installed where it was - easy task.
Trailer is galvanized aluminum made by Road King.
