Item Name: FS 1944 Remington Rand 1911
Location: Statham
Zip Code: 30666
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $900
Caliber: .45 acp
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Up for sale is a 1944 U.S. Army Marked Remington Rand 1911.
A gentleman owed me $900 for the remainder of the balance from a custom guitar I built him. He was having financial issues the last couple months and wasn't able to make payments so he gave me this to square up.
Its in very good condition. Slide/rail fitment is extremely tight, action is smooth, and trigger pull is crisp.
Has period correct Keyes grips with matching mold numbers. Bore of the barrel is rather dark. Exterior of the barrel is extremely worn. It's possible that the guide rod is a replacement but I am not entirely sure. If it is original it's in excellent condition. Comes with one period correct magazine with no markings. I will upload additional photos in the next post.
If you have any questions please post them here, because others may have the same question and could benefit from my answer.
After the debacle from when I posted the two 1911s, I will request the buyer post "I'll take it" on the ad so I don't get accused of impropriety (running an auction) again.
This is for SALE ONLY and the price is FIRM at $900.
I generally don't like to carry cash on me so I am not willing to travel very far for this deal.
