It was designed by Eugene Stoner using polymers like he did in the M-16/AR-15. These guns were made in brown and in gold with polymer wood color. They weigh a shade over 5 lbs. It is a two shot (like a Browning Double Automatic) gun that shoots 2.75" shells. It has a polychoke style choke on the end. This one has the factory butt pad, some only had a plastic plate.
