Any chance of a pic or two?
Hi - yes, I have many photos - I'm not sure how many I can upload here. Are you in the Atlanta or North GA area? We could meet and I can show you the rifle... anyway, let me upload however many I can. You can call me at 770-846-7999 to ask any questions. The name is Sara

Hi William, I took my Dad's (one of his pride & joy rifles) hand assembled rifle to Garland Shooting Clay's master gunsmith referral, Dale McKinney, for evaluation. Dale told me it had an "excellent bore", likely shot only a few times (rare in that vintage of rifle), and one of the best assembled firearms he had seen in many years, with all customizations a shooter would need in a 25-.06. Dale appraised it at $1,000 but it had a left hand stock, so I ordered a $300 right hand walnut stock from Boyd's Gunstocks and Dale reassembled it for $100. That is the way I arrived at the $1400 price. Having said that, after you inspect it yourself, you can make me an offer. Hope that helps explain the price on this rare in perfect condition rifle.

Dale indicated my Dad's is rare because it's only been fired a few times and bore is Excellent condition - very unusual for a 1943 A1903a rifle... You should have yours looked at by Dale also as he could give you an honest appraisal if you are wondering their condition. Good luck!
