Item Description: With a heavy heart, it's time to part ways with my Franchi over/under shotgun - continued issues with shoulders and my right hand make mounting and shooting this favorite gun impossible. Aside from a few nicks in the satin-walnut stock (dropped by my grandson; he cried for hours after it happened), you'll be pleased with tthe condition.
This model, in Franchi's words, "features a performance-focused design for improved bird hunting. This shotgun is designed with a lightweight profile for improved handling and faster pointing. A durable A-grade satin walnut stock and aluminum alloy receiver ensure a classic feel with reliable performance. The barrel selector on this over/under shotgun allows the shooter to choose which barrel fires first and is integrated into the top tang safety for easier access. An auto safety quickly engages when the action is opened and auto ejectors smoothly expel spent hulls for faster reloading".
I used the Instinct for shooting clays, and was quite successful finding them thanks to the red fiber optic front bead. My asking price of $950 (selling new for $1,799.99 at Scheels) includes the original case, owner's manual, Allen case, gel pad for under your vest, 4 boxes of Remington shells (plus 12 loose ones), a CZ-USA shell piuch, and an unused cleaning rod ($24.95 price tag still attached).
