For sale or trade is an exceptional example of the Smith & Wesson Model 66-2, a stainless steel K-frame .357 Magnum revolver with a 4-inch barrel, manufactured on Monday, March 26, 1984. This particular piece is stamped with product code 102706 and includes the factory-original red ramp front sight and white-out rear sight, offering quick sight acquisition and classic S&W styling. This revolver is equipped with original target stocks in mint condition—crisp checkering, sharp medallions, and zero wear. It comes with the original factory box, vapor paper, and cleaning tools. The manual is not included, but is commonly available online if desired.
The history of this firearm is just as pristine as its condition. It was originally purchased at Tom’s Gun Shop in Rome, Georgia, and I acquired it directly from the original owner. According to him, he fired only 12 rounds through the revolver before storing it in his safe, where it remained untouched for decades. I have personally never fired it. The revolver exhibits bank-vault lockup, tight timing, and an action that feels factory fresh. This is truly one of the cleanest, most complete examples of a Model 66-2 you’re likely to find.
I'm parting with this one as I’m scaling back my collection to allocate funds to my son
Must be willing to meet in Athens, GA, as I do not have time in my schedule with my Son to travel. I am happy to ship it if you cannot travel
What you see pictured is what is included with the sale
