Item Description: For sale is my 9' hydroplane with 35 hp '81 Evinrude and trailer. The boat was built by the previous owner in 2005 and features an awesome red, white, and blue theme – the craftsmanship is remarkable. The motor has no leaks and runs great. On 8/6/13 I had the carb cleaned, oil seals & plugs replaced, as well as a compression test (118%). The motor consistently starts first pull and runs strong. I had it out 8/31/13 and ran it for 1.5 hours. It has a 6 gallon tank and the registration is good through Dec. 2015. Below is a link to a short Youtube clip that shows the boat on 8/31/13.
This thing is a blast and creates a buzz every time I take it out. The only flaw is a quarter sized ding on the front left side that I will touch up this weekend. I’m asking $2,000 obo. I’m willing to consider trades for firearms with similar value (or add cash), but I’m primarily interested in selling. The only reason I’m listing is because I need the garage space. If I didn’t need the space I would keep this boat forever.
