I have a SAM7 and can see from the pic that his does not have a scope mount.

SA M7 preceeded SAM7 series. IIRC SA M7 receiver was milled in US from Bulgarian forging.
Fit and finish are excellent, both are better than on the current run of Arsenals.
Side rail can be easily added via Master Mount. Not a big deal.
