FYI, don't be discouraged if the grand jury indicts him. There is no balance in that stage in Georgia and they pretty much will do whatever the District Attorney asks them to do. So unless the DA goes in and says he is throwing it up to them just to do his job but he doesn't strongly argue it then they may indict.

Fortunately it doesn't look like the DA is pressing for any charges. There is good quality video of the shooting. It was clearly self defense. My brother is a good kid, (he is in his 20s), he has managed that gas station for a couple of years now. He is a hard worker. He just got his carry permit last month. The guy who tried rob him died yesterday. My brother got off a lucky shot from the sound of it. Right now he is borrowing a pistol but he needs a gun of his own that he can carry.

I would but it doesn't carry well on him. As much as I don't like them, I am going to replace his gun an XD since he already has extra mags and holsters for it.
