I been shooting lead out of everything i own(ed) for 40+yrs …..NEVER have i come across “catastrophic fouling” in any weapon.
If you are getting this, your lead is not the correct hardness, you have too hot of a load with no gas check or you arent sizing bullets before pressing them after casting. (If indeed you are casting yourself).

I was speaking in regards to this particular firearm, It has a integral gas port system and the lead will clog it and it cannot be cleaned and you will need to replace the barrel (which is very hard to come by and expensive). I've owned 3 desert eagles in the past.
