Item Description: Pietta replica 1862 army police .36 cal black powder revolver. Purchased from Cabellas years ago with the intent to convert it with a kirst konverter but never did. Never fired. Looking for possible trades.
Description from Cabelas:
"The 1862 Army Police .36 caliber revolver was originally designed for police use, and was a favorite sidearm and back-up gun of many officers during the Civil War. It is a lightweight pistol with a fairly short barrel (5"), which added to its popularity. Rugged, case-hardened steel frame, hammer and loading lever. Brass trigger guard. Semi-fluted cylinder, just like the original. Uses a #10 percussion cap and has a 1 in 36" rate of twist."
