Item Description: Not to be confused with the 742 / 7400 series rifles, the Model Four is an enhanced version, with deeper bluing, checkered stock & forearm, monte carlo stock, richer wood, and a shell case inlayed into receiver.
This model was produced from 81-87 with the .270 being the rarest of them.
Been in my family since new, never hunted with as I have the same weapon in 30-06.
Has see thru mounts with a Tasco 4-16x40 scope, very accurate and never jammed or any problems, I would estimate round count at around 100, but really probably closer to 50.
This rifle has pretty much sat in the safe 15 years.
Also has a nice leather Bianchi leather sling.
