I've got an HK SL8-1 KK date code for sale ONLY. The rifle is chambered in 5.56/.223 and is in pristine condition. I've done the modification for the rifle to accept ar-15 type magazines which involves an aluminum mag well being installed, a small part of the receiver to be milled out, US made G36 bolt and piston. The modification was done professionally and the rifle looks as if it came that way from factory.
The rifle started out as a HK G36 conversion project and I just never got the time to finish it. All that is missing, to have a completely functional G36 hybrid, is the stock block adapter from HDPS, which retails for around $300, and you've got yourself an ergonomically converted G36 with SL8 barrel length. That's the way I wanted the rifle to be converted because it allowed me to have the folding stock, pistol grip and round capacity of the G36 with the SL8 barrel length known for it's accuracy out the box.
I'll sell the SL8 with the ar-15 magwell conversion, 4 Magpul mags, HK sling and case for $1700.
