Item Description:
LT1 engine, cast iron block, Aluminum heads. Reverse flow heads and block. Pistons still in block, other parts such as heads, intake, oil pan, camshaft, and crankshaft have been removed, but are included. Engine has 195,000 miles on it, head gasket had a leak. Did run before pulled, just sounded bad.Thanks,gr

I'm not sure if it is, but if it was, I would replace it. I was planning on putting the engine in my Tahoe, but I don't want to deal with the reverse flow change-over stuff. From what I have read, those opti sparks don't like water, and with a head gasket leak, I was not going to risk it.

It's an LT1 engine, it was installed in a 1995 Z28 from the factory. Only difference I have found is the vette's are 4 bolt mains, Z28's and Trans Am's have a two bolt main. Also, the corvette engine was advertised at a higher horsepower, but I don't know why. Maybe someone else can help?

I'm sorry, I thought the ad said Corvette engine. There's a difference.
