Going through an existential crisis. Do I want or need? Will I use or abuse? Am I good enough to hold them or do they want to hold me back? These are the questions I ask, but nobody cares so why are you reading this?
Selling as a pair, but I will break them apart if someone only wants/needs one, price is provided for each one below; I am absolutely 100% firm on price for the pair and individual pricing. Both rifles are boxed and ready to go.
Absolutely nothing will be taken off either rifle, they come as they are unless the MWS gets sold, then I might break the MARS-L down by part but expect close to retail pricing.
LMT MRP (MARS) $3000
Started out as a factory LMT pistol. Grip returned to factory LMT.
- barrel cut by DWilson to 13.9” w Dead Air flash hider p/w for overall 16” so you get flexibility if you want to return to a pistol, do as you please
- LMT eBCG (pre-covid mfr)
- LMT ambi charging handle
- Geissele SSA trigger (new)
- NIB 30-rd PMAG
- spare set of extractor springs for the lobster tail
Only the BCG and lower have seen any action with <100 rounds while I messed around and tried to find a setup that would work best. All other components are new.
LMT MWS (MARS) $4000
Started out as the 6.5 Long Range model with Defender lower, but I swapped the lower for a true MARS-H one and replaced the 6.5 barrel with a SS 7.62 barrel (6.5 barrel is long gone). Grip returned to factory LMT as is the A2 birdcage.
- LMT SS 7.62 barrel that is not only capable of shooting sub-MOA but does so with such boring consistency it will inflate your ego.
- Arisaka offset mount and 3.25 Trijicon RMR (not separating)
- LMT ambi charging handle
- Geissele SD-E trigger (new)
- NIB 20-rd PMAG
- NIB Sprinco Orange recoil spring
- New LMT firing pin (spare)
- Geissele AR-10/SR-25 Reaction Rod included
- Midway USA XL rifle case
I have boxes and docs for both although the MWS S/N won’t match if that bothers you. The MRP will match b/c the lower has stayed the same. An LMT torque wrench is included in the pair purchase, but if separating, first person with cash in hand will get that as a bonus.
To sweeten things even more, paying cash for either set-up, I’ll throw in discounted pricing on 10 boxes of 62 gr 5.56 ammo or 16 boxes of 308 ammo since brass can be a bit pricey still. If you buy the package, ammo is free.
No bill of sale needed, must meet near me, just need to see GA DL or WCL and end transaction with a firm handshake.
**the ONLY trade I would consider on the MWS is a B&T APC308 DMR (18” barrel)**
