These were produced for the DEA for use in the jungles of South America in their drug enforcement efforts. Features include a thick walled barrel, both for use as an impact weapon and to withstand vehicle and helicopter ingress/egress. The trigger guard is also metal and the gun features a tang mounted safety. These are designed to shoot standard commercial 2.75 inch buckshot ammunition, as opposed to magnum or light recoil loads. I purchased this in the early 90's and have only put about 50 rounds through it. Cycles great. As I don't shoot it anymore, it's time for a new home. Not many of these around.
