Item Description: This is an almost brand new Rock Island Tactical 1911 5'. I am the original owner. I have put 300 rounds down the tube and the next owner will need to put another 200 rounds to meet the break-in period. I have been very meticulous with this gun always making sure to keep it super clean, no idiot scratch. It was never really carried except maybe out to the grocery store once or twice.
In this package I have:
The original box and docs
The factory ACT mag
A Chip McCormick 8rd mag (feeds flawless)
Comp-Tac Flatline holster (right hand)
A box of Hornady Critical Duty Rounds
A Kimber bushing tool for breaking it down.
This gun feeds almost flawlessly with the Chip McCormick mag and hasn't caused any issues in the last 100rds.
I really like the comfortability and versatility of the flatline holster as it doubles as both IWB and OWB and has the included hardware to do so. You can also adjust the retention to whatever you desire - from wrestling it out to almost none for IWB.
The parkerized finish is weak and almost considered taking it somewhere to get it professionally cereakoted. There is a little bit of wear, hardly noticeable and is outlined pretty well in the pictures.
Also willing to trade for an AR upper.
