A very reliable AKM style rifle from Romanian Cugir Factory. 2001 dated rifle. From the same factory that built the full auto AK’s for Romania. Used, in very good condition. Chrome lined chamber and bore. Threaded barrel ( most are nuetered) Romanian rifles were never pretty. But they function like an AK should and are Uber reliable. Comes with one steel KBI, 30 round magazine, as shown.
Also includes green Romanian sling, which is my favorite AK sling.
If you prefer, I will trade out the Korean 30 round mag for a Romanian 20 round “Tanker” mag. See last picture for 20 round magazine.
The price is FIRM on this rifle. I believe it is a fair price. You can find an AK cheaper elsewhere, you can find AK's even by the same manufacturer, Romarm SA in Cugir (WASR & MISR), but the SAR1 will be the closest in quality to the military AK's of the time.

Cugir Arms Factory is one of the oldest defense companies in Romania, with roots tracing back to 1799.
Update 6.28.25. I found the Romanian 30 round magazine that came with the rifle. That will be the replacement for the KBI magazine, which is more or a commericial product. The Romanian steel mag is in very good condition and made to mil-spec. You still get a choice of the 30 round or the 20 round.
