Item Description: I have for sale one brand new, never been fired, Safety Harbor Firearms SHTF-50 single shot, bolt action .50 BMG rifle.
I purchased this directly from Safety Harbor Firearms in Florida. I got the 29” barrel upgrade, the bipod, monopod adjustable steel stock, carry handle, the single shot lower with an ALG Defense ACT trigger installed, and lots of spare replacement parts.
54.5” OAL and it weighs in at about 20 pounds I’m guessing with everything on it. 95 pound dog in the third photo for scale.
This also comes with 61 (40 PMC Bronze, 10 American Eagle, 10 Hornady A-MAX, and 1 Lake City) rounds of .50 BMG ammo, one snap cap for dry fire practice, and a set of .50” bore brushes for an Otis style system or solid cleaning rod. I have a set of new in package Leupold Mark 4 30mm rings and a new in box SWFA Super Sniper 10x42 mil-quad reticle scope (made in Japan) and popular with .50 shooters – it will stand up to the abuse.
I purchased this prior to the July 2018 production halt cause by ATF reclassification, which basically turned an unusual upper receiver into a firearm. When I purchased it, it was classified as an upper receiver assembly similar to an AR-15 upper.
