Item Description: The Savage 110 Hunter offers shooters a practical, reliable, and versatile bolt-action rifle that's well suited for hunting or target shooting. The 110 Hunter model comes with Savage's AccuStock, an injection molded, aluminum bedded synthetic stock that provides a stable platform for consistent accuracy. The stock utilizes Savage's AccuFit system that allows shooters to quickly adjust comb height and length-of-pull. The fore-end and pistol grip surfaces have a soft grip overmold to provide a non-slip hold in any weather. Savage's AccuTrigger is user adjustable to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep; and a lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. The basic bolt design assures that the locking lugs fully contact the receiver, holding the headspace to a minimum every time the bolt is locked. The tight headspace contributes to the excellent accuracy Savage rifles are known for. The matte-finished, sporter-weight, carbon steel barrel features precision button-rifling. A 3-position receiver tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter's thumb, and allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded in the safe position.
