Item Description:
Salvo 12 NEW IN BOX 12" shotgun silencer. Salvo 12 is modular in nature the shooter can add or remove sections to balance their sound suppression, weight and length needs (can be shortened to 10, 8 and 6 inch configurations). At its full length of 12 inches, it brings sound down to 137 dB at the muzzle well below the 140 dB hearing-safe level set by OSHA. Removal of each section reduces weight but also impacts the degree of hearing protection. Suppressor attaches to the the existing choke threads via an adapter. Due to differences in shotgun manufacturer and choke preference it is important that you select the correct adapter. Constructed using 17-4 stainless steel and 7075 aluminum. Hard coat anodized finish. Tested with Mossberg, Remington, Benelli, FNH, Weatherby, Beretta and Browning pump-action, gas operated semi-automatic and inertia-driven semi-automatic 12 gauge shotguns. Compatibility: 10-15 inch barrels, 2.75 inch shells, 1350 fps or less ammo, wadded shot only; 16 inch barrels or longer, 2.75 or 3 inch shells, 1550 fps or less ammo, wadded shot only. No 3.5 inch shells.
