The condition is very favorable due to the age of this rifle and still functions as it should, the bore still has the riflings and is pretty clean, this wasn't my gun, this was a rifle that belong to the late Jerry beatenbaugh, he installed a leapers 2.5-10-x 56 scope on it, no holes were drilled in this process, this rifle does lack the rear amateur site, which from what I hear are readily accessible and can be easily put back on if you want to, comes with leather sling and scope
