I just received this in a PM , I am not making this gun out to be anymore than what it is.
With the addition of the ammo you are looking at a 250 dollar gun.
I posted it as I have two now, and it is here for who ever wants it.
And in my reply I stated it is what is and nothing more.
But I dont think I misled anyone with knowledge of the gun at this price.
So at 5 times less that makes this one 55 dollars?
I think not.
[h=2]M44 [/h]Nice mosin. You might not be aware but allmost all Mosin Nagants were re-arsenaled as they came in from the field and stored. When they were re worked the old serial numbers were ground off with the acception of the receiver. The parts that passed inspection were mated with a receiver and re stamped with the serial number on the receiver. Your M44 has 3 different styles of stampings which is an indication of being reworked at least twice. A true all original matching Mosin Nagant is worth about 5x the market value of a re arsenaled Mosin Nagant to a collecter.
I have only seen 1 all original Mosin Nagant and the owner would not sell it, he was just showing it off and making all the collectors out there drool.
Just thought I would enlighten you since your add is a little misleading.
lol, don't let him get you down you have a fine piece of equipment and history there just update your listing to say force matched if that is the case your price is already reflecting thatNo he said it was a little misleading, if I had posted it at 1,250 than yes it would be misleading.
But my point to him was ,I dont mind keeping it as I have two now however if somebody want this one that was the price.
But I would be glad to swap bolts on the two so the numbers dont become an issue for the future owner.

I need one of these !
