Item Name: FS vintage 30-06 ammo
Location: Carrollton
Zip Code: 30117
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 100 (~$1.39 per round)
Caliber: 30-06
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I'm selling 72 rounds of vintage 30-06 ammo. 59 rounds appear to be soft-points, 5 rounds are ball, and 8 rounds seem to be blanks. The clip, which I think is for an M1 Garand, is included.
This is ammo my late grandfather had purchased and stored in an old trunk. He passed 20 years ago, and it appears that all of this ammo is vintage. The two boxes of Norma brand ammo (soft points) seem to be from the late 50's / early 60's. You might actually be able to pawn of one of the boxes (the one in better shape) on Ebay for a few bucks after you've fired the ammo.
All of the loose rounds (20 of which appear to be soft points and 5 of which are ball) have "DEN 42" marked as the head stamp; hopefully that gives you some more information about them.
The ammo is sold as-is. It's pretty old, but it appears to be in good shape.
