Red label glock 17 RTF2 that was made in the USA gun was bought from a collector but I don't know to much about it accept that is was brand new never loaded when I got it I put one mas threw it cleane it and carried it a few times awesome gun just looking for something different comes with with the box lock docks ect 2 mags and a cheap Blackhawk holster it does has a mark on it from the holster but you really have to look to c it open to all trade offer no highpoint or 380's I have mags and a lot of self defence ammo like hornady critical duty and critical defence thanks for looking pm offers and god bless

FYI, Glock RTF2(rough texture frame) has a different stippling pattern. The frames and crescent serrated, (((((, or "fish gill" slides that are on some of the RTF2 guns are both no longer in production.

Also not fully made in the USA. USA glocks are assembled in Smyrna Georgia. The main parts come from overseas.

FYI, Glock RTF2(rough texture frame) has a different stippling pattern. The frames and crescent serrated, (((((, or "fish gill" slides that are on some of the RTF2 guns are both no longer in production.

You can have a rtf2 frame without the gill pattern look at the vickers rtf2 fde. Glock stopped the gills due to the addition cost of manufacturing but the frames are still being made.

The guns were designated export only by Glock. The USA made guns were shipped overseas for a few foreign national police forces/military contracts ( mostly to Philippines I have heard ). They were made here in the US because Austria has laws on the books about exporting/not exporting directly from Austria to certain countries. The over runs of these export only guns were released to the public for sale at the end of some of the contracts.
