Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/ft-rossi-62-a-pump-22.1426188/
Item Name: FT Rossi 62 A pump 22 pre safety
Location: Lilburn
Zip Code: 30078
Item is for: Trade Only
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Something that goes bang
Caliber: 22 LR L S
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: So, this a a Rossi copy of the Winchester 62 takedown. I bought it on the board as a fun project; listed as not feeding.
What wasn't mentioned was that both the takedown screw in the receiver, and the lifter spring securing screw, were both stripped.
The feeding problem was the magazine cut of lever was missing, (and of course you can't get Rossi / Taurus spares nowadays !).
So I made a new takedown screw and threaded insert, tapped out the lifter spring screw and made a magazine cut off lever.
Now it generally works, but that isn't warrantied ! Definitely sold 'as is' lol. Will it keep working, who knows ? I'd be happy to try and fix it if it breaks down, but that's the best I can say about reliability.
Finish is worn in places, a couple of spots of surface corrosion, so definitely not a safe queen, but still looks pretty good. Just a knock about 22 you don't need to worry about.
Looking to trade for any gun you think is of equivalent value, weird / old / project / wonderful welcomed, few $ either way's possible.
So, just pm me if you're interested.
