Item Description: I'm looking to trade a couple hundred rounds ( give or take) of Russian-made "Golden Tiger" 7.62x39 ammo, for some .223 or 5.56 ammo.
(Edit: I also have some Brown Bear/Barnaul if prefered.)
I'm not not really after any high-dollar premium stuff, almost any decent-name, factory-loaded, brass-cased FMJ is probably fine.
Looking for a roughly even trade, round-for-round, (which is abour right, from the prices I'm seeing....plus, it makes the math easier!)
Golden Tiger ( Vympel) and Brown Bear ( Barnaul) have both long been among the most popular and highly rated Russian AK/SKS ammo, and they've always run 100% flawlessly for me, ( and several friends) in numerous AK's and SKS's. This is standard East-bloc, mil-spec AK ammo, and completely NON-corrosive.
Plus, this primo Rusky ammo has been banned from import for a couple years now, so when stateside inventories finally dry up.......it's gone. ( edit: I just did a search,and every website I looked at said, "out of stock/no longer available".)
Ammo is New-in-box (20 rd. boxes) and has been stored in a climate--controlled home closet, in ammo cans with desicant.
I'm not up for any road trips, or shipping, just a local FTF deal. I'm located in the SW Harris county/ NW Columbus area..
