I have a full size special bull **** version of some sort that is WAY to big to carry anywhere. It's been great to plink with at the range. I've never considered using it for anything else.
I'll admit I was a SIG fanboy, but I will not shoot or advise anyone to get a P320. I've had my own issues with them
I love my SIG M11-A1 and my SIG P227. My lack of confidence in the P320 has no bearing on my feelings about other SIG models. I'm sure there will be some who won't differentiate between the various models, though.
In my case, I agree with

, but it's going to make me very skeptical of the next one or two new model families coming out of SIG, and regardless, I'll be a late adopter of their products. The design team that comes up with them is very likely to be staffed with the same people who designed the P320.
And I don't like the idea of being part of their unofficial QA programs.
