i just paid my last months bill. i am moving and my new roommate already established internet at the new pad

they claim i owe them for late fees or some other nonsense, but its comcast so naturally they are full of ****. but i have a modem i rented from them i need to return. i could give a wooden nickle about paying them the rest of the supposed balance owed, but i need to return the equipment

i also am so done with this company that i never want to spend my time dealing with them again. how should i go about canceling my account for good? cause there is no way in hell i am calling their customer service department.

im thinking about boxing it up and returning it to an xfinity store. anyone deal with cancelling your service with them?

Good luck with them! I haven't found one Internet/ cable company that I've ever been happy with! I'm currently with direct TV and yes they sux also. I'd definitely recommend sending the equipment back, and I guess they have you over a barrel on the bill. If you don't pay they can ding your credit.

i can dispute the credit ding im pretty sure. i also locked my credit with transunion and all the other companies (although i dont know if this will help)

i paid them on time the same billed rate i always was. it was their error in attaching additional charges without explanation nor their ability to explaint he icnrease in charges. i got tired of calling them for 2 hours each time and simply sent them the same amount for the past 3 months (i never missed a payment, i just didnt overpay them)

and yes, good luck to me haha

Comcast blows, but I got no other good options.... I was told that they hired someone away from Chick fil a Corp office that was supposed to get the CS piece up to par, but obviously NOT

if there was a company that would fix customer service problems, it would be chick fil a

but comcast is pure evil

Yea, this was told to me by one of the many tech guys that have been out to my house.... This guy said "I've got dish.... So what does that tell ya" HA!

I cancelled my comcast account for the same reason. Unfortunately I called the customer service line (had to call 3 times and sit on hold for my entire hour and a half commute home) I vented my frustrations with them...excessively and demanded they cancel my service. They did and now I too have to return my equipment. Never again will I ever use them for anything!

how did you return your equipment? id rather just return the equipment and tell them its cancelled. i could send something in writing, fax it to them, email, us mail, certified, fedex, etc.

but no way in hell am i ever talking to one of those souless mother ****ers over the phone
