Girlfriend built her first AR yesterday

So my girl is a total gun freak (yes, I am very lucky) . She loves everthing about guns (shooting, training, hunting ect...) but she's never actually owned her own AR and really didn't know how they work or the nomenclature. So to remedy this I decided she needed hands on and the best way is to build one.

Well here it is. We just chilled part of the day yesterday so she could take her time and get it right. She did a great job too. It's primarily Daniel Defense (complete upper, lower build kit, ect...), the lower (Spikes Honey badger, her choice), BCM charging handle, some Magpul stuff, YHM rail and Aim Point Pro. It's pretty light too. With the right girl, sometimes life is just too good.

Oh and before anyone freaks out. Yes, it's off safety (so you can see the "Don't give a ****" on the fire controls) but it is unloaded. The mag was in for "looks".

She didn't have any make up on or else I'd have a pic with her holding and some clevage for you guys. Maybe next time.

It's temp. Once we get on the range we'll make the perm. adjustments to the sights and AP locations. She just slapped it on there. It's actually only 2 notches from the end of the rail though so it can't go back much more.
