What wax do you use on your wooden stocks? I was using Birchwood Casey but it is very expensive for what little bit comes in the bottle. There has to be a product that works just as well and is more cost effective. What brand do you guys use that is just as good or better?

Deer blood and whatever oil is left on the rag I wipe it down with.

But also, I was unaware stock wax existed until now. I don’t have nuthin worth that kind of attention yet.

It's just for the stocks that I applied Tru Oil to. It recommended it to protect the finish from oils and moisture after the finish has cured for a week to 10 days. I only have four guns with wooden stocks but I need to keep a good protective was in hand to apply once every six months to a year depending on how often I take them out.
