Gonna try to get the family up to Prentice Cooper this Sunday after I get back from New York. Gonna try to catch the tail end of Fall before all of the leaves drop. Would anyone be interested in coming along to explore?

I believe Prentice Cooper has a hunt going on this weekend, so everything west of Hwy 27 will be closed to everyone but those hunting.

You're right, thanks for the correction. I was thinking Fri-Sunday instead of Thurs-Saturday for some reason.

If y'all have time ride all the way down Tower Rd to Insurance Bluff. There are a few short side trails that are good for getting more dirt under your tires and the view is pretty good too.

Also, if you want to stretch your legs then the Ransom Hollow Overlook is a short hike from the Snooper's Rock parking area on the main road. It's my favorite overlook up there.
