Is it just me or is October getting a little hairy?

I guess Obama's greatest skill (besides *** kissing) is that of diversion/crisis manufacturing.

There has been a lot of anecdotal information circulating that causes me to believe there is something bigger in the works. It almost seemed too "planned", the way the Senate ushered us right into this (insofar mostly superficial) "shutdown". Now, we have a bigger meteor sailing towards us...the looming fiscal cliff, in little more than a week. A shooter in DC? Distraction, maybe. Practice session for DC Police to respond similarly to Boston's PD in the aftermath of the marathon blast? Maybe. I wrinkled up my tin foil hat years ago, and let the cat bat it around the floor. But step back and look at these things not individually, but from a higher altitude.....and you may see that there might be something in the works here that will make a shutdown look like a coffee break. Let's hope not...

Not sure if you spent much time in DC but there are shootings blocks from the White House pretty much all the time..... Tons of criminals and gangs.

But how many of them result in a lock-down of the Capital and make national news?

Not sure if you spend much time on the news but not too many gang members ram into the White House Gate.... "An Armed Gunman Rammed the Gate to the White House which started the car chase that ended up at the Capitol & the Suspect is in Custody."

She was unarmed and with a child in the car! She was just running, and was gunned down.
