HELP finding a Ruger M77 22maG BOLT/RECIEVER

I have a Ruger M77 22mag 20" Stainless Steel Fluted Bull barrel. I want to build a 22 mag rifel with this barrel and am clueless. I have built about a dozen AR s. Please help with any info or contacts you can provide .

So your needing a receiver and bolt? You'll have to just buy a gun for that. If you already have it and it's got the older style v block you can remove the barrel and replace it with aftermarket. I installed a green mt bull for my mag and wasn't real impressed with the accuracy. May look into a different brand barrel. A trigger job will help out a lot as well.

IMO the most cost effective way is to find a .22 Mag M77 or .22 LR (converting the bolt) and simply re-barreling it. Get an abused one, the bore may be crap but you're re-barreling it. Refinish the receiver if required.

The lr and Magnum are the same action in the M77 series. Only need to tweak the ejector and change stock bottom metal if going from lr to Magnum.
