SW PA Rat Snake... Had 3 in my back yard when I lived in Plum Boro PA. Chipmunks were not to be seen

I agree it looks like a juvenile rat snake.

Your friend needs to keep the snake or get over run by rats. The snake would not be there if there were no rats to eat.

its a new hybrid species of snake that just escaped from a lab in pittsburgh. its a mix between a boa constricter and a black mamba with venom 10x mor toxic than a box jellyfish. beware!!!
