Well it looks like I let the tax man take some more then he should have, and with that I will be getting a nice return this year.

I'm new to Class 3 and decided to enter the market with a .22lr suppressor- I've been slightly overwhelmed by everything that's out there and was hoping the experts could help me narrow it down.
Basic requirements are of course user serviceable, well that's it actually. Minimal first round pop would of-course be nice, but at the price point i'm looking maybe it's not too important.

A list of some I've been looking at, they're all around the same price.

Huntertown Guardian SS ($199)
SWR Spectre II ($295)

SWR Warlock II ($221)
Griffon Checkmate ($281)
YHM Stinger ($277)

From my research it looks like the Guardian SS or Spectre are going to be my best bets, both are user serviceable, multi caliber and have good reviews.
It looks like the Spectre may be a little quieter, and a little bit easier to clean.I guess my question boils down to is it worth the extra $100?

I suppose at the end of the day it may be a moot point since the Spectre is in stock and the Guardian is not.

So those of you who have actually handled these- what do you think? (Keeping in mind I'd like to keep it below $300 before the stamp)

I went with the HTA Guardian. Not going to lie, I bought it because it was cheap. If I wasn't such a cheap ass I would have bought a sparrow.

First off, I'm just now getting into suppressors and consider myself to be a complete n00b to suppressors. That said, after comparing in person the Specter 2, Sparrow, Outback 2D, Pilot 2, Prodigy, and Warlock 2, I chose the Specter 2 due to feel and disassembly of it in addition to the sound level and lack of first round pop. I only got to shoot the Specter 2, Pilot 2, and Sparrow and preferred the Specter 22, so I ordered it based on what I said. I will say the AAC Pilot 2 and Prodigy had the prettiest finish and exterior design of the group, though that's very subjective.

Thompson makes one called the Zephyr XL... It is awesome. The people that have shotine were all very impressed.

It is a little bigger than other .22 cans, but really quiet.

Sparrow22 all day long. Stainless baffles and user serviceable...also arguably the quietest out there.
