Hk MR556a1 barrel cut crown and thread

Hey guys,
I know my info has been posted around here a lot. Here’s a little project I’m proud of recent work.
It’s an Hk MR556A1 upper.(can in picture is for show.)
Scope of work entailed cut the barrel down from 16” to 10.4”, re thread to 1/2-28, and re crown with the oem style recessed crown.
I also had to adjust the gas port size, and installed the 10” oem 416 gas block.

Sweet! Mines off getting cut to 11” right now. The 10.4” looks clean though.

Are you able to true up a shoulder on a bad cut? I sent a scar 16 out to get cut a 10”, and there’s a double shoulder on there that doesn’t allow me to put indexing muzzle devices on it.

Do you only work on ARs? I have a bolt action I’d like to get cut down from 22” to 16.5-18.5” and threaded.

Let me know when you can come in… scars have such a thin profiles barrel. I’d like to see what was done to yours, to tell you your options.

Depends on the make model… some .22’s are pressed in and can be difficult to press back in for correct head spacing.
It’s always good to come in for a consult.
