How do I get a notification when a particular firearm I'm looking for gets posted?

Unless you are tech savvy (since you are asking…) you don’t.
The keyword option is available for supporters:
The option is under the "settings" menu then "keyword" alert.
"Add Alert"
Enter an "Alert Name"
Enter the specific make, model or a general description for the keyword
Select Alert "Immediately"
