Mine doesnt have those options in the settings. Had to go in through my text messages for some reason

Weird. We've got and had a variety of Android phones. All phones are set to automatically go to "do not disturb" during sleep hours. Never had one make an audible alert during those hours. The text of the alert will still be there in the morning but no sound.

Once I saw a trend of names associated with the majority of amber alerts, I cut it off. I can appreciate the ones up on traffic billboards when I'm out and about, nothing I can do at home.

Thanks, I turned all that crap off. I turn off my phone at bedtime--gives the phone a rest, and I don't expect any calls anyway. An electric alarm clock wakes me up. Has anyone ever heard of all those citizen heroes who get those alerts and spring into action on the highway, trying to locate the white Honda Accord with license plate 0ICU812, then doing the pit maneuver saving the day? No? Me neither.
